It is strictly prohibited to enter areas nearby the railway lines which is not open to the public.
Railways Act Section 9
The Railways Act Section 9 is about the obligations on the general public. In accordance with letter b, members of the public are prohibited from loitering in a railway area that is not intended for public use. This means it is not legal to walk along or on the tracks. The Railways Act also applies for many of the disused railway lines.
