The corridor between Eina and Skrukli runs mostly through a flat terrain and passes the lakes Skjelbreida and Trevatna. Then it goes downhill for the next 20 kilometres to Odnes with a great view of the lake Randsfjorden. The last part to Dokka has almost no elevation. In the winter months you can go cross-country skiing along the railway line between Eina and Dokka.

Eina–Trevatn
The first stretch between Eina and Trevatn station is eight kilometres long and is suitable for all family members. After a couple of hundred kilometres you pass a blinking railway signal, and that's because this section is still not formally closed. The trip continues along the south side of the lake Skjelbreida until it continues through a rural, forested area.

Trevatn–Skrukli
The last kilometres to Trevatn station goes slightly downhill. You will get a great view of the lake Trevatna when you reach the red station building. Here you can sit down on the platform and have a rest until you continue towards Dokka. From Trevatn the route goes along the west side of the lake until you arrive Skrukli after almost seven kilometres.

Skrukli–Hov
The station building at Skrukli is unfortunately demolished, but on your way to Hov you will get a spectacular view of Randsfjorden – Norway's fourth-largest lake. This is an eight-kilometre easy part. You can sit down and rest on the platform at Hov station as well. If you want to end your trip here, there are bus services to Oslo and Dokka from Hov.

Hov–Odnes
The corridor continues downhill through a coniferous forest pass the remains of Bjørnerud station. You will cross the county road twice. First over a long railway bridge and then over an unsecured level crossing. Look both ways before crossing the road! After you have passed Fluberg station on your left, you will follow Randsfjorden closely. You reach Odnes station after 16 kilometres, another suitable rest area.

Odnes–Dokka
The stretch to Dokka goes through a flat terrain along Randsfjorden and later along the river Dokka. You will soon arrive Dokka station. In the summer months you can rent a draisine here and cycle the 24-kilometre stretch to Hov. There are a couple of restaurants in the village of Dokka, and there is also a campsite here if you need accommodation.
