You can go cross-country skiing along the Losby Line between Sørlihavna and Østmorksaga at Losby. The ski trail starts outside the parking lot at Sørlihavna and follows the corridor southwards. The terrain is mostly flat and easy. After 3.5 kilometres you will pass Losby Farm on your right. Here you can take a break and buy coffee and sandwiches before you continue.

Østmorksaga
The ski trail passes over a golf course on the other side of the river Losbyelva. After one kilometre turn right towards the red shed. The route continues along this oblong building, and you're now again following the Losby Line. When the ski trail crosses the road, turn left and cross the bridge. You will soon arrive Østmorksaga, the name of the old sawmill. Timber was here transported on the Losby Line to Fjellhamar station and further on the Trunk Line. A restored water wheel is the only remaining object of the sawmill, which was connected to the saw blade.

Fisklaushytta and Losby Gods
If you want to extend the trip you can follow the ski trail further southwards. The cabin Fisklaushytta is situated only 1.5 kilometres away where you can spend the night over. If you prefer a more luxurious accommodation, Losby Gods is situated only a couple of hundred metres away from Losby Farm. They are also known for their excellent food.

How do I get there?

Bus 110 from Oslo or Lillestrøm to Sørlihavna bus stop. By car, exit the road to Lillestrøm and continue on Strømsveien towards Sørli. Continue straight ahead when you arrive the roundabout and take a left at the next crossroads. The Losby Line crosses the road along the crosswalk. You will find a large parking lot nearby.
